What is IE_CBI?
In short
IE_CBI is the Irish label in the European register of payment and electronic money institutions, and the reference on a row says which entry the provider sits under.
IE_CBI is the country label the European register uses for Irish entries, and every row under it is a payment institution or an electronic money institution. The reference string in front of the label is what identifies the firm. Coinbase shows PSD_EMI IE_CBI!C188493, where the prefix marks it as an electronic money institution. Avant Money shows PSD_PI IE_CBI!C129700 and Fire.com shows PSD_PI IE_CBI!C58301 as payment institutions. Barclaycard and Barclaycard UK carry the same Irish reference, PSD_PI IE_CBI!C155145, so both card names sit under one entry.
